Hey there, I'm
some of my favorite things...
One of my favorite memories growing up was looking at old photos of my family and friends. Since then, photography has always held a special place in my heart. I am passionate about capturing natural moments that my clients can look back on for decades to come!
I have been capturing moments, big and small, for over 10 years. When I'm not behind the camera, you can usually find me cuddled up with my cats, reading a book, exploring, or playing an intense round of Rummy with my husband, Kyle.
I grew up running barefoot through fields in a small town outside of Erie, Pennsylvania. In 2016, I traded in my barefoot days for Xtratufs on an island in Alaska, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Sitka is rich in culture and roots, one of the many reasons I love calling this beautiful old rock my home.
Ocean waves washing over rocks on the beach, those warm summer days where you can feel the suns heat and the winds generous breeze, the way light reflects off the water during different times of the day, the sound of the wild all around.

"Kaitlyn was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a large group – 19 people, 9 of which were young children – and she was able to capture pictures for the entire group and individual families in less than an hour (and before any children had meltdowns 😊). She captured the personalities of all the children so wonderfully, it was hard choosing favorites because they were all so great. Our entire family loved all the photos and we are so excited to have had these memories captured so perfectly."
